AutoCAD WS Team and their Androids

If you’ve ever read this blog before or visited our Facebook page, you may have noticed that almost every story we publish is swiftly followed by calls for an Android version of the AutoCAD WS mobile app.

We are very proud that we have been able to generate this level of enthusiasm among Android users despite the fact that they have not been able to use the mobile app. The Android operating system is close to many of our hearts here at Autodesk.

    I think AutoCAD WS on Android is a great thing that will eventually happen. I also believe that since Autodesk has had a long and prosperous relationship with HP, that Autodesk Apps for HP’s WebOS mobile platform is a fantastic idea.

    Android close to your hearts? But you have broken all None-MAC users heart by giving the best goodies to MAC people that less than 1/2% are using Autodesk products!

    If it was available on the Android platform I would go out and buy android tablets for all our surveyors as it would compliment our AutoCad Lite perfectly :-) The working offline option is a must to save pennies . . . . . are you able to provide any expected dates?
