Apple® is releasing its 128GB version of the fourth generation iPad® with Retina® display today, February 5, 2013.

If you are using Autodesk’s AutoCAD programs that employ a lot of large files, you may find that the current 64GB iPad model doesn’t provide enough storage. This new generation of the iPad® will be perfect for enterprise and educational institutions, as well as some creative professionals. More importantly, AutoCAD WS users can now store more files on their mobile device to take their designs with them to the site, take notes, collaborate with designers in the office, make changes, and sync it all back.

“Our AutoCAD WS app for iOS was designed to give customers seamless access to their designs anywhere, anytime,” said Amy Bunszel, vice president of AutoCAD products for Autodesk. “These files are often large and highly detailed so having the thin and light iPad with its Multitouch display, integrated camera and all-day battery life, is a real advantage for iPad users to view, edit and share their AutoCAD data.”

The new 128GB versions of the fourth generation iPad will be available starting today, Tuesday, February 5, in black or white, for a suggested retail price of $799 (U.S.) for the iPad with Wi-Fi model and $929 (U.S.) for the iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
