Now that most of you have already upgraded to AutoCAD WS 1.2, it’s time for us to think about the next release.
As always, we want to hear from you to find out exactly what functionality you want to see next in AutoCAD WS.
We know that AutoCAD WS for Android is the #1 most requested feature/upgrade we have received, but if we leave the platform aside we want to know what functionality you want to see most.

I have an iPad, autocad ws is really Nice , but but dwg, dxf file are sometimes top big.
Could you add dwf and dwfx support ?

We’re really focused on DWG and DXF formats. We have no plans to support DWF files in AutoCAD WS in the immediate future.

We haven’t had many calls for a Symbian version of AutoCAD WS. Is there anyone else out there who would like to see this?

Great job on AutoCAD WS!
We would like a way to enter a line that is (say) exactly 53′-7.6″ in length. Once you get past 10′ or so, you can only get 1′ precision. This could be done by allowing the user to type in a dimension, or by adding a ‘scale by reference’ function that allows a typed-in dimension.

Hi. I just tried WS and in the most thought it was great. My biggest problem though is drawing a line to a specific length – even with a stylus I cannot get the accuracy that I need – say 5670mm (need to nearest 10mm 1/2 “).
I see there are suggestions for the next release, which I voted on. In the meantime are there any clever workarounds?
My suggestions for the future would be offset, trim and dimension linear.

When will you be able to edit attibutes and mtext in the mobile app? Will it be avaiable in version 1.3? Also, how soon is the new version expected to be released?
