O
We welcome feedback at AutoCAD WS and we have several channels for receiving and dealing with it.
You can contact us by:
- Leaving a comment on this blog
- Writing on our Facebook wall
- Raising an issue on our support page
- Emailing us directly at feedback@autocadws.com
Our aim is to give you as many avenues as possible to reach us.
But what happens when you send us feedback? Well you might be interested to know that we do not have a dedicated team of people sitting somewhere offsite going through your comments. Everything you send to us is seen by one of the core team that works on AutoCAD WS.
It’s a key part of the strategy to incorporate as many of your suggestions and comments into future versions of the product. When your comments reach the people that develop and work with AutoCAD WS, they really have an impact.
The first person who checks the feedback will filter it so that it goes to the right address and then you may get a response from someone in product management, QA or even from the marketing depending on what you were asking about. In other words, every question, complaint and compliment goes directly to one of the people who built AutoCAD WS and who is helping define the product’s direction in the immediate future.
We all sit in the same office and we regularly consult with each other and this means your comments are noted and acted upon. We pride ourselves in developing the functionality that our users demand and every new release so far has added features which originated in user feedback.
So keep talking to us and we’ll keep listening.

I am a little disappointed. I just downloaded WS to my iphone and then uploaded a basic architectural file for a 4 story apartment building by way of the web browser on my PC. Then I signed back in on my iphone and it synced perfectly only to tell me the files over 15mb are not supported when I tried to open it.

Hi Jay,
That size cap exists because of the computing power limitation of the current gen’s smartphone capabilities. As time goes by and phones become stronger we’ll be easing these limits.

I’ve read that I should be able to work on my files Offline, but I can not. Could you explain why?

I’m trying to set up an account and I’m locked out due to not completing the account after entering my e-mail address
You’ll need to clear it and advise me when to proceed

I have shared a drawing file with one of my co-workers. When we both have the file open we do not see each others mouse pointers. When we do add a comments we see that .

Thanks for the update on the later issue of being able to turn on or off. This wil be very helpful as my office draws almost all info on top of each other.
I still have a loading issue, has anyone looked into that? I have an ipad with 32gb. I tried loading a file with xrefs. All files combined are less then 2 mb. this is a huge issue as many times I can’t load the file.
thanks,
Frank

Hi,
Was wondering if you are going to make an app for Windows 7 phones?
Thanks
Daniel July 6 2011
Daniel, at the moment we are focused on iOS and Android as the two most widely adopted operating systems.

Help, I tried to register for AutoCAD WS and was told my email address had already been used. When I tried the “forget password” link it tells me the email address is not registered???
I couldn’t find any other mechanism to ask for help on the website.
Thanks in advance

Steve, is it possible that you have logged in to a different Autodesk product before using “single sign-on”? Try logging in to WS with your Autodesk username and password, rather than your email address and password. If that doesn’t help, send me a mail to feedback@autocadws.com.
